About the Art The Birth of Flamango is a digital painting by Palm Beach artist, Jessica M. Kirby, which was a commissioned piece of work used to wrap the Mini Mango, a small affordable art vending machine. Inspired by the Birth of Venus, the paiting features an scene depicting a Flamango – a flamingo with a mango body – after her birth in the ocean. Two clouds blow Datura flowers towards the beach as she washes ashore to be welcomed by the palms blowing in the breeze.   About the Artist- Jess Kirby

I’m a South Florida-based artist with a bachelor’s degree in animation. My work spans both digital and traditional art, blending techniques from each to create uniquely trippy pieces. My goal as an artist is to create immersive experiences by bringing the surreal elements of my art style to life in the real world.

I also work professionally as a graphic designer in the marketing space. However, most of my time and energy is dedicated to expanding my craft and transforming the traditional gallery experience.

My goal is to offer more than just visual art. I aim to create interactive journeys that engage all of the senses, inviting viewers to step into the worlds that I imagine. Beyond my own work, I’m passionate about building a platform and community for unconventional artists who don’t always find a home in traditional spaces.
